A highly integrated development

The range of precincts within the masterplan cater for the needs of Western Sydney now and into the future. The Northern Gateway Precinct has been identified for use as key employment land, which accommodates our plans for an active and vibrant place for new education, health, retail and entertainment and logistics facilities which is set to create over 55,700 new smart and skilled jobs.


The new International Education Precinct will enhance and foster innovation in Western Sydney by establishing an education, research and industry hub with global connectivity.


A new approach to retail which moves beyond the 'big box typology' to provide a highly activated and engaging 200,000sq.m retail and entertainment focused town centre around a new rail station to be delivered by Scentre Group, owner and operator of Westfield in Australia and New Zealand.


The Northern Gateway will deliver significant health and medical research uses across 140,000sq.m of floorspace that will include a Wellness Centre of Healthcare Excellence and Centre for Cognitive Enhancement.


The commercial precinct provides up to 500,000 sq.m of prime grade office accommodation for approximately 29,371 workers. It will reflect industry leading design and technology.


International logistics firm LOGOS will operate The Northern Gateway Logistics Estate, a hub for logistics, hi-tech industries and manufacturing. It will leverage its prime location adjacent to the airport and surrounding road networks for efficient distribution of good and services, featuring a mix of space types and sizes to suit the market demand and scale of business.


The Northern Gateway will deliver employment opportunities and quality public realm to meet the needs and desires of Western Sydney residents. The proposed mix of employment, leisure and entertainment uses will create a compelling precinct that catalyses the development of the surrounding areas and facilitates the achievement of a 30-minute city.

Hotel / Student Accommodation

Located directly opposite the future Western Sydney Airport, the Northern Gateway will be the most convenient location for new arrivals and visitors. It has the potential to deliver 200,000sq.m for hotels, serviced apartments, short term executive living and student accommodation.


The Northern Gateway is at the epicentre of Sydney’s west. With the new airport at Badgerys Creek, North South rail link and M12 all within close proximity, this project will add vital new infrastructure to the heart of western Sydney’s major transport hub.
